"The manager (white man) of this store is a THIEF. I went to buy some things on Saturday, March 7, 2026, and spent $518.90. Then I returned on March 10, 2026, to return some items. The cashier processed my return, gave me a receipt, and I left the store. Then today, March 11, 2026, I returned two more items from the same purchase, using the receipt from March 7, 2026. It turns out they were already listed as returned in the system with those labels? (So, since I had the items) the cashier who served me on March 10, 2026, mixed up the labels and selected the wrong ones on the screen, assuming they were the items I had brought (everything I brought had a label). Then he put the labels for the two items I returned today, March 11, on the return receipt for March 10. That's what the cashier who served me TODAY told me (the cashier wasn't working today). And they're telling me they can't refund my money because the returned labels already appear? How did that happen if I had both items with me? Obviously, the cashier didn't scan the labels; he just randomly selected them on the screen, assuming they were the items. Now I have two items that supposedly were already returned. (And how did I have them with me?) Well, they called the manager, and he told me he couldn't give me a refund or a gift card for the items I brought, nor could he take back the two items I was "returning" because they were already on the return receipt from the day before. So he wouldn't let me take them (and if I had already returned them the day before, how do you explain that I'm bringing them back TODAY?). Obviously, it was the cashier's fault for selecting the wrong tags, but I had those items. The manager took the two items I was going to "return" and put them behind the counter. I told him to give them back to me; I would keep them if I wasn't going to get a refund. He said no because they already belonged to the store and were listed on the receipt from the day before. So, "thank you for returning them," assuming I stole them? And was I going to return them in good faith? I wanted to return them so I could get my money back. If I had noticed the labels were switched, why would I have returned them? I told him it wasn't fair because the mistake wasn't mine, but the money was. He said he couldn't do anything and was going to keep the things I had brought anyway (he stole from me right in front of my face). No matter how much I tried to explain in English, he wouldn't listen and told another cashier to explain in Spanish because I didn't understand him (because he saw I was Hispanic). I never spoke to him in Spanish, nor did I say I "didn't understand" or that I needed a translator (of course I understood him). He didn't want to listen to me or he didn't understand my point (which I was right about). Wasn't it my fault the cashier put the wrong labels on the receipt the day before? It was the store's mistake, not mine. The manager kept my things and my money. What I do know is that if they inventory the store's items, they'll obviously have my two stolen items and the stolen money in excess on their accounting. I go to that store regularly because I own a beauty salon and I love decorating it for each season. I don't spend $20; it's always hundreds and hundreds. It wasn't the first time I'd returned something to the store. I know he could have helped me, but he simply refused. In total, he stole $86.67, including taxes and my two decorations. I'm definitely not going back to that store."

"Horrible. Everytime I go it's an absolute mess. Aisles are blocked by carts filled with merchandise which often prevents customers from browsing what's on the shelves. I dont know why I bother stopping in at the Nanuet location. You'd do well to avoid it and with probably find a better shopping experience at the Paramus location."
